The Central Algoma Secondary School Track & Field team participated in the NOSSA championships in North Bay, May 31 & June 1.
CASS will be sending three athletes to the OFSAA Championships in Ottawa June 7,8 & 9.
Rob Gallinger won the Midget Boys Triple Jump and in the process set a new NOSSA record with a jump of 11.89 M. (Old record was 11.79 M). He also finished fourth in the High Jump (1.67m).
Jeremy Hodgson won the Senior Boys Shot Put with a Put of 13.48M. He also finished third in the Javelin with a throw of 51.76m. Shaylene Kern jumped 1.40 M to finish second in the Midget Girls High Jump.
