The Central Algoma Secondary School track and field team travelled to W.C. Eaket for the North Shore Championships.
For the first time in 4 years CASS has failed to defended its Championship. Manitoulin won the meet with 752 points to CASS’ 708 points.
CASS will be sending 40 athletes to the NOSSA Championships in North Bay May 31 & June 1.
Outstanding performances were put in by several CASS Athletes. Kaitlin Smith won overall Junior Girls and Colton King won overall Junior Boys. Each captured three first place finishes. Double gold medalists were Rob Gallinger, Corey Marques and Jeremy Hodgson.
